Mozambique has approved a visa waiver for foreign nationals hailing from West African, Asian and European countries, including the Americas, according to a Council of Ministers press release.
However, travellers with a valid ordinary passport must still register on the e-visa platform at least 48 hours before the trip and pay a processing fee of about $10. This will allow the foreign national to stay up to 30 days, which can be renewed for up to an additional 60 days.
The 28 countries join Southern African Development Community countries, Brazil, Cape Verde, Cuba and Portugal to the list of countries exempted.
