Please accept our apologies for the erroneous information that we sent out on Friday morning in which we wrote that former Mozambican Finance Minister, Manuel Chang, had been transferred to the United States.
We trusted our source who has always provided us with accurate information. He has clarified to us that he had used his judgement as a former US attorney that Chang was already on American soil since in his understanding, his lawyer could only have filed the motion for dismissal, if the former minister was already in the US.
We understand this is very sensitive matter. This is no means an attempt to justify our mistake. We know this is a disappointment for those who trust us as a credible source of information. We have failed you. We will do better.
